I was honored to be asked to photograph a baptism at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Newport Beach. Andres was so sweet and calm, he is such a smiley baby. Made my job so much easier. Loved all the little details and to top it off the reception was at the parents home. They live right in front of the beach. Tent was on the sand and about 40 of their closest friends and family.
I will be meeting the family again soon to turn in the images and cannot wait to see Andres.

The Contreras family is a family of 4 sons, 1 daughter (Roxy) and their parents. I immediately felt a connection with them. Not only because we both have the same Hispanic heritage, but because they are warm and welcoming.
Back in December the Contreras family and I had scheduled a Family Photography session. I don't recall why, but we had to take it off our calendars. So we set it up again for January 2nd. Then rain happen and I scrambled to find a location on the same day to carry on with the shoot. Fortunately for me the Bower's Museum was available and rain or shine we went through with the shoot.
I am glad and grateful that the Contreras family agreed to keep their appointment. It turned out to be a great shoot. We were not able to take the photos outside on the court yard. The inside courtyard was perfect though. I am happy with the results.
It is always such a pleasure to see the D'Avanzo family every year for their Holiday photography session. Cannot wait to see their new addition to the family in February. Looking forward to photograph them all again in the near future.
Sean and Haley have such an adorable family. Their little Elle was such a trooper through the whole shoot. Any little gesture she did was a photo opportunity and I couldn't go wrong with such a good looking family.
When I found out Elle was turning 3 three the following day I knew I had to do something special for her. So I put together a collage of her images and here are the results.

I feel so previleged to photograph people. I have been photographing Shannon and Calvin for over a year now. They have allowed me to share very special moments of their lifes. Their true love, the birth of their child and their joy.
Shannon and Calvin Becerra irradiate their happiness and positivism on their images. No doubt they make my job as a photographer very easy.

Last November 16, 2010 the photography club I run was honored with the presence of John Solano. Solano graciously accepted my invitation to come Calumet Photographic in Santa Ana. He lectured our group of wedding photographers about great and effective tips on how to create better images. There is no doubt that John Solano is an extraordinary wedding photographer and most of all a generous person. Thank you John Solano.

Had a great time on November 18, 2010 at the Holiday Inn in Fullerton. I signed up as a Mary Kay consultant to learn more about how to apply make up the right way. It has been such a wonderful experience meeting and networking with such enthusiastic ladies. I know I will not only gain knowledge about make up application but gain new friends.
I was also furtunate to use my skills as a photographer to take headshots of several of the attendees.
